30 avril 1750 (1) : Clairaut à la Royal Society :
We underwritten Members of the Royal Society of London being particularly acquainted with the merit of Mons[ieu]r Levret, Master in Surgery one of the Perpetual Committee of the Royal Academy of Surgery, Surgeon in Ordinary to the kings ordnance, Author of a Book of Observations on difficult Labours & of a Treatise on Polypus, have signed this Certificate and recommend him to the Members of the Royal Society as a Person very expert in all Sciences that have any concern with his Profession & very worthy of the honour of being admitted a member of the Said Society. Given at Paris April 30 1750. Defouchy, Clairaut, de Jussieu, Le Dran, Croissant de Garangeot, Morand, Boffrand, de Vigny, De la Grive, de La Chapelle.
